Quaestus Global

Capital allocation and portfolio strategy across asset classes.

Position

Structured with intent.

Quaestus Global is the investment platform within the UMCI structure. It exists for mandates that have outgrown a single transaction — where a client is deploying capital across several investments, several vehicles and often several jurisdictions under one strategic programme.

Where UMCI leads the relationship and coordinates the transaction, Quaestus provides the allocation framework, the portfolio-level strategy and the governance that holds a multi-investment programme together.

It is designed for private clients and family offices whose capital is committed across more than one opportunity at a time, and who need those commitments to be considered against one another rather than decided in isolation.

Capability

What Quaestus provides.

Capital allocation

Development and coordination of allocation strategy across approved projects, assets and opportunities.

Portfolio strategy

Portfolio-level strategy covering composition, development, holding and disposal.

Alternative investments

Strategic coordination of alternative investment opportunities, including venture and operating-business investments.

Cross-asset deployment

Coordination of capital deployment across multiple asset classes and projects within a single mandate.

Investment governance

Governance structures, reserved matters, reporting frameworks and oversight for multi-investment programmes.

Approach

Disciplined capital. Considered reach.

Our approach to allocation is patient and deliberate. Capital should be deployed intelligently rather than opportunistically, and a commitment made quickly is rarely a commitment made well.

Allocation strategy developed within a Quaestus mandate balances three objectives that pull against one another: performance, capital preservation, and long-term value creation. Most allocation decisions are a judgement about which of the three is being traded, and for how long. Making that judgement explicit — and recording it — is much of the work.

Every allocation is considered within the wider context of the client's portfolio balance, liquidity requirements and risk position, rather than assessed on its own merits in isolation.

Allocation

Where capital is deployed.

Programmes coordinated through Quaestus have covered:

Infrastructure

Core infrastructure across developed and emerging markets.

Real assets

Tangible asset exposure with long-term income characteristics.

Trade and logistics

Positions in global trade routes and logistics networks.

Financial markets

Liquid and semi-liquid positions across global financial structures.

Allocation is determined by the client's objectives and risk position. Quaestus does not operate a model portfolio and does not offer a standard allocation.

Structure

How a programme is held together.

A multi-investment programme typically involves more than one vehicle: special purpose vehicles for individual assets, holding structures above them, and consortium arrangements where several parties participate in a single investment.

Those vehicles are established by the client's own legal, tax and corporate advisers. Quaestus coordinates them — ensuring the structures relate to one another coherently, that governance and reserved matters are consistent across the programme, and that reporting rolls up to a portfolio view rather than arriving as a series of unrelated updates.

Execution runs through the client's own arrangements: their banking relationships, their custodians, and their legal and fiduciary providers. Quaestus coordinates with those institutions. It does not replace them, and it does not hold anything.

Programmes

The work.

Quaestus has coordinated allocation and governance for programmes spanning sport and community infrastructure, life sciences and longevity ventures, institutional philanthropy, luxury and lifestyle capital, real estate, and sustainable investment.

Consistent with UMCI's approach across the platform, we do not publish programme details, participant names or commitment values. Prospective clients who wish to understand the depth of a particular programme are welcome to raise it in conversation, under confidentiality.

Philosophy

The name.

Quaestus means gain, acquisition, advantage. We chose it for what it describes and kept it for what it demands — that gain be pursued within a framework that is considered, responsible and durable rather than merely successful.

Capital deployed with patience and conviction creates compounding advantage over time.

Positioning

Who this is for.

Quaestus Global is not a retail platform and is not open to general subscription.

Quaestus capability is engaged within a UMCI mandate rather than contracted separately. It becomes relevant when:

— capital is being deployed across more than one investment or asset class

— multiple vehicles require coordinated governance

— a client requires portfolio-level reporting rather than transaction-level reporting

— a strategic programme is expected to run across several years and several projects

Clients engaging Quaestus capability are typically seeking structured access, disciplined allocation and long-term alignment rather than transactional execution alone.

The platform

Part of a wider structure.

Quaestus Global forms one part of the UMCI platform.

UMCI OÜ leads the client relationship, holds the engagement terms and coordinates transactions and structuring.

Praedium Investments provides prime real estate capability, where a programme includes property acquisition, development or portfolio strategy.

Integration means capital allocation is supported by execution capability and sector expertise within one relationship, rather than assembled across three.

Regulatory position
