Regulatory status

UMCI OÜ provides strategic, commercial, operational and treasury advisory services.

UMCI OÜ does not, unless expressly stated in writing and authorised under applicable law, provide regulated investment services, portfolio management, custody services, deposit-taking, payment services, insurance distribution or any other regulated financial activity requiring regulatory authorisation.

Treasury and capital coordination

All treasury and capital coordination services provided by UMCI are advisory, strategic and administrative in nature. Capital movement, settlement, escrow and custody are executed by appropriately authorised financial institutions and professional service providers. UMCI does not receive, hold or transmit client funds.

Investment structuring

UMCI provides commercial and strategic structuring advice and coordinates the professional advisers who establish and administer investment vehicles. UMCI does not manage investments, does not exercise discretion over client assets and does not provide advice on the merits of any particular investment.

Introductions and professional coordination

Where UMCI introduces or coordinates relationships with professional advisers, financial institutions or commercial counterparties, it does so on a commercial and administrative basis. UMCI does not advise on the merits of any investment, does not receive or transmit orders, does not arrange deals in investments and does not receive client funds. Where a relationship requires regulated activity, that activity is carried out by an appropriately authorised institution or adviser.

Independent advice

Clients remain solely responsible for obtaining independent legal, tax, accounting and regulated financial advice where appropriate. Nothing on this website constitutes legal, tax, accounting, investment or regulated financial advice, nor an offer or invitation to acquire or dispose of any investment.

Scope of services

The inclusion of a service within UMCI's Professional Services Catalogue does not constitute an obligation upon UMCI to provide that service. Each engagement is separately agreed and documented through the applicable engagement documentation, and UMCI's obligations in respect of any mandate are those set out in that documentation.
